Mata Gujri Medical College is a medical college in Kishanganj, Bihar, India. It is affiliated with B.N. Mandal University and offers undergraduate (M.B.B.S.) and postgraduate (MD/MS) medical programs. It is a trust-run private medical college in Bihar founded in 1990. It was sponsored and founded by a Trust of the Sikh religious minority community under article 30(1) of the Constitution of India. Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College & Lions Seva Kendra Hospital (M.G.M.M.C.) received the approval to start M.B.B.S. from the 1990-1991 academic year. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare approved the M.B.B.S. program for 100 seats after the Medical Council of India (MCI) recommendation. M.G.M.M.C. always works hard to achieve new parameters in health education and research. It is built on 25 acres and features a Medical College building and a 620-bed hospital offering the best medical care.

Hospital
Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College & Lion’s Seva Kendra Hospital, Kishanganj, emerged through the sponsorship and establishment of a Trust representing the Sikh religious minority community, acting under the provisions of Article 30(1) of the Constitution of India. The primary objective was to deliver efficient medical services to the inhabitants of the underdeveloped North-East Region, characterized by educational, social, and economic backwardness. Responding to this need, the Sikh minority community resolved to contribute through the establishment of a Medical College and a well-equipped Hospital in the State of Bihar.
Situated in Kishanganj, Bihar, Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College boasts a fully operational 610-bed hospital, incorporating comprehensive facilities and advanced technologies. Students benefit from ample opportunities to engage with patients, gaining direct clinical experience. The hospital, housed in a prominent seven-story complex, accommodates various departments and their respective wards. The Casualty and Emergency services operate 24/7, managed by well-trained Casualty Medical Officers supported by senior and junior doctors, as well as ancillary staff. Additionally, nearly a dozen Operation Theatres are available, complemented by one of the premier Radiology centers in north Bihar, India. The Radiology center features state-of-the-art equipment, including an MRI machine (HITACHI), a Spiral CT Scanner, a High-Resolution Colour Doppler, the latest Ultrasound machine, and advanced X-ray machines.
The hospital’s state-of-the-art ICU is furnished with a central monitoring system, piped oxygen, suction and compressed air, ventilators, defibrillators, and a blood gas analyzer. Lecture Theatres
The College has a fully air-conditioned lecture theater’s seating capacity of 200. A new lecture theatre block has been built, with six lecture theatres with a seating capacity of 200. All the theaters have ultra-modern audio-visual teaching aids like LCD projectors, etc.
Library
The college has a fully air-conditioned and digitalized library with a built-up area of 16,00 sq. meters, a seating capacity of 500 in five reading halls, and two computer labs. There are more than 11,000 books, including medical textbooks and reference books. The library subscribes to several journals with a fully open-access system. Medical CDs are available for interactive consultation, and an Internet facility is open to students and faculty members. The library provides its services through its reliable website by giving online books and e-journals. Library timings are 8 am to 10 pm. The central library also has several fiction and nonfiction books for light reading.

The auditorium, with a capacity of 700 individuals, has modern facilities. Co-curricular and extracurricular functions are held here from time to time.

Online Registration
Students have to fill in the information in the application form. Student must enter their NEET-PG 2023 Roll No. And then, click on the verify button, enter their DOB, and click OK to confirm their details. If data gets verified, an OTP will be sent to their registered mobile no. and email ID. After verifying OTP, move ahead to the further process. Candidates’ all details related to Registration will be sent to their registered email ID and Mobile No. After successful Registration, the candidate will receive a message on their registered mobile no. and email. After that, students will have to login by entering their NEET-PG-2023 Application no. and Password and will process further to submit their application form. The NEET-PG-2023 Application No. Provided to the student will be his “user name.”

Method of Selection and Admission
- Merit list of all the students as released by the Department of Health, Govt. of Bihar based on NEET (PG)-2023 will be the basis for PGMAC-2023 admission.
- There will be four rounds of Counselling, i.e., Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round.
- Students have to fill in their choices online for PGMAC-2023 counseling.
- After completing the choice-filling process, seat allotment will be published on Board’s website. If the student is allotted a seat during 1st round, they must report at the reporting center for document verification. After document verification, they will take admission or go for free exit if they are eligible.
- Allotment will be made online for rounds 1 and 2. Mop-up counseling will be done offline.
- A fresh choice filling can be done for Round 2 by those students who:
- Completed the registration process for round 1 but did not fill in the choices for any reason.
- Have been allotted a seat in Round 1 but have taken a free exit.
- Have not completed the registration process during Round 1 for any reason.
A candidate who has filled his choices online for PGMAC-2023 counseling within the stipulated period and could not get any seat either in Round 1 or 2, then their security deposit will be credited to their bank account from which they have deposited the same after the end of all rounds of counseling. Such candidates are eligible for MOP-UP Counselling if they are not admitted to any Medical College of India via NEET(PG)-2023.
