The National Medical Commission (NMC) has rescheduled the National NEET PG 2024 exam to June 23. Despite this change, the internship deadline remains unchanged, as indicated in the NMC’s latest update. The NEET PG results are set to be announced on July 15, according to the Public Notice issued by NMC PGMEB. Counseling is slated to begin on August 5 and run until October 15, 2024.

This announcement was made on March 20, which incidentally fell on a Wednesday. In 2024, NEET PG 2024, like several other entrance exams, is experiencing delays owing to the Lok Sabha Elections. Applicants are advised to take note of the revised dates and adjust their preparations accordingly for the NEET PG exam in 2024. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced July 7 as the new date for the NEET PG 2024 examination. Initially, the tentative date was March 3, 2024. According to the notice signed by Aujemnder Singh, Deputy Secretary, PGMEB, the decision was made during a meeting convened by the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB), National Medical Commission, along with the Medical Counseling Committee, Directorate General for Health Sciences, and National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences.
