NEET PG 2024 Maharashtra Eligibility Criteria

Candidates wishing to be admitted to PG medical colleges in Maharashtra must fulfill the eligibility criteria:

  • To be eligible for the exam, candidates must be citizens of India. Indicating Indian nationality will be considered valid proof of nationality. A nationality certificate must be obtained from the District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, or a valid passport or School Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std.
  • Non-resident Indians (NRIs) are ineligible for the exam except for the 15% NRI quota seats available in unaided private/minority medical colleges.
  • Maharashtra residents who have secured admission under the 15% All India Quota/AIIMS/Central Government Institutions for MBBS course in a medical college located outside Maharashtra, as well as those who have obtained their degree from a university located outside Maharashtra, are also eligible for admission to Maharashtra PG medical courses in 2024. These candidates must provide a certificate from the Dean of their respective medical college and a Maharashtra State residence certificate.
  • Students must have an MBBS pass certificate from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) only from Maharashtra.
  • Students must have completed their compulsory rotatory internship.
  • Students must secure the NEET PG cutoff 2024 to be eligible for the NEET PG entrance examination.
