The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong, has released the provisional seat allotment list for the second round of Meghalaya NEET PG counselling for MD, MS, and PG Diploma programmes. In this round, seats have been assigned to 11 applicants.
As per the Meghalaya NEET PG 2025 merit list, 224 candidates were found eligible for 11 seats under the North East Open category, while 36 candidates were considered for a single seat reserved for NEIGRIHMS pass-out candidates.
Following the preferences submitted by eligible candidates, the round 2 allotment outcome shows that 10 seats have been allocated under the North East Open category and one seat under the NEIGRIHMS pass-out category.
Two seats, one each in the Anatomy and Physiology departments, remain unfilled due to the absence of willing candidates. Applicants who have been provisionally allotted seats must report in person to the institute, confirm their acceptance, and complete the required admission procedures by December 30.
An admission fee of Rs 69,000 is to be paid at the time of reporting. Failure to report or accept the allotted seat within the stipulated time will lead to cancellation, and the vacant seats will be carried forward to the third round of counselling.
The institute clarified that seat allocation is temporary and subject to verification of original documents and compliance with all admission requirements. The academic session is scheduled to begin on December 22, 2025.
