KS Hegde Medical College MBBS Admission Process
Students aspiring to pursue MBBS from KS Hegde Medical College must successfully clear the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG), conducted annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA’s role encompasses organizing the entrance test, declaring results, and furnishing the All India Rank to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), New Delhi. The DGHS utilizes this information for the counseling process concerning 15% of All India Quota Seats, 100% of seats in Deemed Universities, and disseminating results to state counseling authorities and admitting institutions.
Eligibility to appear for NEET-UG extends to Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Foreign Nationals. A NEET qualification is a prerequisite for admission to MBBS at KS Hegde Medical Academy.
Prospective candidates can submit the NEET-UG application form online via the official website www.ntaneet.nic.in, following the notification. The NBE’s responsibilities include overseeing the administration of NEET-PG, announcing the results, and providing the outcome to key authorities such as MCC, DGHS, and MoHFW for onward transmission to State Counselling Authorities. It’s essential to note that NBE does not play a role in the counseling process or seat allotment.
The application process for NEET PG involves online submission through the official website www.nbe.edu.in, following the notification. Prospective candidates are strongly advised to carefully review the Information Bulletin and ensure the accurate preparation of details before submitting the form.
