The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the NEET UG 2025 counselling schedule on its official website, mcc.nic.in. According to the timeline, candidates who have qualified the NEET UG this year will be able to begin their counselling registration from July 21, 2025. The registration link will be available on the MCC portal. The counselling process generally includes four rounds. If seats remain unfilled after the fourth round, the MCC holds special stray vacancy rounds to allocate them. This year’s NEET UG results were published on June 14, 2025.

Eligibility for NEET UG Counselling
Only those candidates who cleared NEET UG 2025 (results announced on June 14, 2025) are eligible to participate. Counselling is open to applicants seeking admission under the following categories:
- 15% All India Quota (AIQ)
- 100% seats in AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU, and ESIC
- Institutional quotas managed by MCC
- AFMC, IP quota in ESIC, and designated seats in central and deemed universities
The entire counselling process is conducted online up to seat allotment. After allotment, candidates must report in person to their assigned colleges for document verification and to confirm admission.

Eligible candidates can follow these steps to complete registration:
- Go to the official MCC website: mcc.nic.in
- Navigate to the UG Medical Counselling section.
- Use your NEET login credentials to register or sign in.
- Fill out the application form and pay the counselling fee.
- Upload all necessary documents, including the NEET scorecard, identity proof, and relevant certificates.
- Select and lock preferred colleges and courses.
- Download and save the acknowledgment or confirmation receipt.
