NEET 2025 Counselling Dates Postponed by MCC

MCC has updated the entire timeline for NEET UG 2025 counselling. As per the revised schedule, the counselling process will now end on October 10, 2025, extending beyond the earlier planned date of October 3, 2025. The updated counselling dates can be viewed on this page.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) extended the deadlines for Round 1 registration and choice filling for NEET UG 2025 following appeals from NRI and PwBD candidates, as well as ongoing legal proceedings. With Round 1 now extended until August 18, 2025, the overall counselling timeline has been pushed back. As a result, MCC has published a revised counselling schedule, with the process now set to conclude on October 10, 2025, instead of the initially planned October 3, 2025.

NEET 2025 Counselling Revised Dates

The updated NEET UG 2025 counselling dates, as announced by MCC on August 6, 2025, are provided in the table below.

Round 1 of NEET UG 2025 counselling began on July 21, 2025. As per the seat matrix, a total of 26,515 seats are available across Government medical colleges, Deemed Universities, AIIMS, BHU, JIPMER, Central Universities, and ESIC institutions. Additionally, 507 seats have been allocated for BSc Nursing courses in designated nursing colleges.
