Patil, Chancellor of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, with the aim of creating one of the best medical colleges in Maharashtra and beyond. With the support of Hon’ble Dr. D. Y. Patil, former Governor of Bihar and Tripura, the college commenced its operations. As a constituent unit of Dr. DY Patil Vidyapeeth Pune, the institution holds prestigious accreditations such as NAAC re-accreditation (3rd Cycle) with a CGPA of 3.64 at ‘A++’ Grade and ISO 9001:2015 certification as a ‘Deemed to be University.’
The college is recognized as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. It initially started with an annual intake of 100 seats for the MBBS course, emphasizing holistic development alongside education. It stands as the first private college in Maharashtra to receive approval from both the NMC and the Government of India. FINAL STRAY VACANCY ROUND
1. MCC of DGHS, MoHFW will organize AIQ Stray Vacancy Round for State-contributed seats.
2. Central universities/Institutes will have their rounds conducted by the MCC of DGHS, adhering to the eligibility conditions of the Central Institutes/universities/DNB.
3. Deemed Universities will conduct their Stray Vacancy Round independently.
i. There will be no fresh registration of candidates in the Final Stray Vacancy Round.
ii. No choice filling is allowed in the Stray Vacancy Round. Choices filled during the Mop-Up round will be considered for allotment in the Stray Vacancy Round.
iii. Online seat allotment will be carried out using dedicated software.
iv. Eligible candidates without any existing seat can participate in the Stray Vacancy Round.
