Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2025 Extended

The Maharashtra CET Cell has extended the registration deadline for NEET UG 2025 counselling, providing additional time for candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, and other health science programs. The new deadline for registration is August 4, 2025.

Candidates must upload their documents and complete the registration fee payment by August 5. The provisional merit list and seat matrix will be published on August 6, with the preference filling window open from August 6 to 9.

The seat allotment result for MBBS and BDS (CAP Round 1) is scheduled to be announced on August 11. Candidates allotted a seat must report to their respective colleges between August 12 and 17 with original documents, pay the required fees, and confirm their admission.

What Happens After Registration Process

After completing registration and document verification:

• Candidates will be included in the merit list, which will be released on August 6.
• Preference filling for colleges and courses can be done online between August 6 and 9.
• Seat allotment, based on NEET rank, category, and submitted preferences, will be announced on August 11.
• Those allotted a seat must report in person to the assigned college between August 12 and 17, carrying original documents and the retention form.

What About BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and Other Courses?

The CET Cell will release a separate CAP Round 1 schedule for AYUSH and other allied health science courses. These include:

• BAMS (Ayurveda)
• BHMS (Homeopathy)
• BUMS (Unani)
• BPTh, BOTh, and BASLP

The counselling process for these programs is expected to follow a format similar to MBBS and BDS counselling and is likely to commence around mid-August.
