Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission at NEIGRIHMS Shillong

1. To be eligible for MBBS admission in Meghalaya for 2025, candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent with a science stream from a board recognized by the state. English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology must be part of the core subjects in their qualifying examination.
2. Applicants in the General category need to achieve a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in these subjects, while those belonging to SC, ST, or OPH categories require at least 45%. 3. Only individuals who are permanent residents of Meghalaya are primarily eligible. However, students who have completed their schooling, particularly Classes 10 and 12, from institutions affiliated with Meghalaya’s recognized board may also apply. Those who studied outside the state may be considered if their parents are permanent residents of Meghalaya.
4. All applicants must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2025, and must not exceed 25 years of age at the time of admission.
