NTA NEET UG 2025 notice: The NTA has confirmed that admissions to BDS and BVSc & AH programs for 2025 will be based on NEET UG 2025 scores and merit lists.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that NEET-UG 2025 will continue to serve as the qualifying exam for admission to undergraduate courses in dental, veterinary, medical, and other related fields.
In a recent update, the NTA stated, “In addition to the courses outlined in the Public Notice dated January 16, 2025, NEET (UG)-2025 scores and merit lists will also be used for admissions to BDS and BVSc & AH programs, consistent with the regulations of the respective regulatory bodies.”
The NTA further instructed candidates to consult the detailed Information Bulletin for NEET UG 2025, which will be available on the official website when the application forms are released.
The NEET UG 2025 exam will be held in a single shift and conducted in a pen-and-paper format. Candidates are advised to link their Aadhaar with a valid mobile number for OTP-based authentication and ensure their Aadhaar details match their Class 10 marksheet or passing certificate.
In line with Section 14 of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, NEET (UG) will be mandatory for admission to undergraduate courses such as BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS in the Indian System of Medicine across institutions governed by this Act. NEET (UG) will also be required for admission to BHMS courses under the National Commission for Homeopathy. Additionally, NEET (UG) scores will be used to shortlist candidates for B.Sc. Nursing courses in the Military Nursing Service (MNS) for 2025.
