NEET PG 2024: The NEET PG 2024 exam is scheduled to take place on July 7, 2024, with the eligibility cut-off date set for August 15, 2024. Aspiring candidates must meet the eligibility criteria by the specified date to be eligible to appear in the NEET PG 2024 examination.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the exam schedule for NEET PG 2024. As per the announcement, the NEET PG 2024 exam is set to take place on July 7, 2024. The eligibility cut-off date for appearing in the exam is August 15, 2024. This information is available on the official websites nbe.edu.in and natboard.edu.in. The rescheduling of the NEET PG 2024 examination was made in compliance with a notice from the National Medical Commission (NMC), following a letter received on January 3, 2024. The earlier tentative date of March 3, 2024, has been replaced by the new schedule.

Additionally, the National Exit Test (NeXT), initially planned for 2023, is now expected to be launched in 2025, as announced by the NMC. The newly introduced Post-Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023, mandate online counseling for every seat and a weekly holiday for post-graduate students, aiming to reduce stress. The regulations also require colleges to offer suitable residential accommodation, though staying in the hostel is not mandatory for post-graduate students. Once a medical college gains permission to start PG courses or seats, the course will be considered recognized for students’ qualification registration according to the new regulations.
