NEET PG 2025: A total of 1,28,116 candidates have cleared the NEET PG 2025 exam. The schedule for MCC NEET PG counselling 2025 is likely to be released shortly for postgraduate medical admission.
NEET PG 2025 Qualifying Marks
For the 2025 admission cycle to MD, MS, and PG diploma courses across India, results for nearly 2.42 lakh registered candidates have been released. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) also declared the NEET PG 2025 cut-off, which is lower than 2023 but marginally above 2022. The exam was conducted in a single shift on August 3, following Supreme Court directions. Although the apex court suggested releasing the answer key and raw scores for transparency, NBEMS has not shared them.
Of the 2,42,493 candidates who registered, about 2,30,114 appeared, and 1,28,116 have qualified for counselling. Results were published within 16 days of the exam, and the scorecard download link is available on the official portal, natboard.edu.in.

NEET PG 2025 Cutoff
According to the NEET PG 2025 qualifying criteria set by NBEMS, candidates from the General and EWS categories who secure 276 marks at the 50th percentile will be eligible. This cutoff is lower than 291 in 2023 but one mark higher than 275 in 2022, while the highest recent cutoff was 302 in 2021.
For General-PwBD candidates, the qualifying requirement is 255 marks at the 45th percentile. Meanwhile, SC, ST, and OBC candidates, including PwBD from these groups, qualify with 235 marks at the 40th percentile for participation in AIQ counselling.
Although the General category cutoffs have shown variation over the years, the qualifying thresholds for General-PwBD and SC/ST/OBC categories have declined compared to earlier sessions. It is also important to note that in 2024, NBEMS did not publish specific cutoff scores, as percentiles were calculated through a normalisation process due to the exam being conducted in two shifts.

MCC NEET PG 2025 Counselling
