FMGE 2023 Exam December Session is planned to be held online for the December session. The date for the FMGE 2023 exam will be announced shortly, along with the complete schedule. To submit the application form for FMGE 2023, candidates must register on the official website. The National Board of Examination (NBE) will release an information brochure on the official website, including information on eligibility criteria, the application process, the exam pattern, and important dates such as the application, admit card, result, etc.
Once the application form is released for the exam, candidates can register for FMGE 2023 on nbe.edu.in. The National Medical Commission (NMC) will release the application dates for eligibility certificates for the FMGE 2023 December session. Candidates must submit their eligibility certificates to the National Board of Examination (NBE) before appearing for the exam.
Candidates who successfully apply will be issued an admit card by the NBE. The FMGE 2023 admit card will be available online. The NBE will release the result in PDF format, including the roll number, application ID, marks scored, and qualifying status. Candidates who obtain at least 50 percent marks, i.e., 150 out of 300, will be declared qualified for the exam. What is FMGE?
FMGE stands for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination. It is a national-level examination held by the National Board of Examination (NBE) in India. The FMGE is conducted twice a year. It is a screening test for Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have obtained their medical degrees from foreign countries and wish to practice medicine in India. FMGE 2023 Exam Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI).
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a primary medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) awarded by a foreign university/institute recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Medical Registration: Candidates must have obtained a medical registration certificate from the country where they obtained their primary medical qualification.
- Internship: Candidates must have completed their compulsory rotating internship from a recognized hospital on or before the deadline specified by the NBE.
- Eligibility Certificate: Candidates must possess a valid eligibility certificate issued by the NMC when appearing for the FMGE 2023 exam.
