- Those students who have been declared qualified for NEET UG 2024 exam.

After the UP NEET UG Counselling 2024 registration process is finalized, applicants are required to submit a refundable security deposit, commonly referred to as “security money.” This deposit must be made through a Demand Draft payable to the “Director General, Medical Education & Training, U.P,” and should be payable at Lucknow. The amount of security money varies depending on whether the candidates intend to apply for private or government colleges. The candidates will only be eligible for CHOICE FILLING after depositing their Security money. If no seat is allotted to the candidate after all the rounds of counselling are over, then the security deposit amount will be refunded to the same bank account by which the payment was made. Once the candidate has taken admission to any Govt/Pvt Medical/Dental College against the allotted seat, the security money will be refunded. The candidates not taking the admission after seat allotment, the security money of the candidate will be forfeited.

1. Login:

2. Choice Filling:

UP NEET UG Counselling 2024: Bond Proforma
For the MBBS Course Compulsory Government Service Bond Proforma is as follows –
As per Government Order No. 950/71-2-82/2017 dated 07.03.2018 of the Medical Education Section-2, candidates admitted to Undergraduate (MBBS/BDS) courses in Government Medical/Dental Colleges/Institutes/Universities in Uttar Pradesh are required to sign a Compulsory Government Service Bond. The bond entails several conditions and restrictions, and any deviation from the terms of the bond will result in consequences. Specifically, if a candidate (excluding medical officers holding MBBS degree of PMHS cadre) fails to adhere to the bond’s terms, they will be liable to pay an amount of 10 lakh Rupees to the state government.
The bond amount for Uttar Pradesh MBBS candidates will be deposited in the state treasury by the Director General, Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, through the Principal/Director/Registrar after completing all necessary formalities at the respective medical college/institute/university level. In case of deviation from the bond, if a candidate fails to deposit the bond amount, it will be recovered as if it were land revenue.

UP NEET PG Counselling 2024
UP NEET PG Counselling 2024 will be done by the Directorate General Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh (DGMEUP). It will be conducted online on the official website of UP NEET https://upneet.gov.in. The candidates who have successfully cleared the NEET PG 2024 exam are qualified to participate in the UP NEET counseling process 2024 to get admission to the MS/MD courses under the state quota seats.
Counselling for UP NEET PG is held for 50% of state quota seats in government medical/dental colleges as well as seats in private colleges. UP NEET PG Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the UP NEET PG counselling, students must meet the following criteria:
- Candidates who have qualified for the NEET PG 2024 entrance examination.
- Candidates who have completed their one year of Compulsory Rotatory Internship on or before 30th June for MDS and 11th August 2024 for MD/MS /Diploma/DNB courses.
- Candidates who have passed the MBBS/BDS course from the Govt/Private Medical & Dental Colleges of U.P. are eligible for Government State Quota seats and Private Medical College seats.
- Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS from AMU, Aligarh & BHU, Varanasi are not eligible for admission in Government State Quota Seats. Such candidates are eligible for admission only to Private Medical & Dental Colleges.
- Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS from outside of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for admissions only in Private Medical & Dental Colleges/Institutes/Universities.
- A candidate who has already taken admission based on earlier NEET PG/ NEET MDS is not eligible for the NEET PG 2024/ NEET MDS 2024 counseling until he/she completes and passes the course where he/she is presently admitted. However, such a candidate shall be eligible if he/she has resigned from the said course and his/her resignation has been accepted by the competent authority of the Medical & Dental College/Institutes/Universities and he/she has refunded the salary/stipend received by him/her during the said course along with the fulfillment of the terms and conditions laid down in the format of the Bond of Rs. 5 Lacs at the time of admission.
- Only those NEET qualified PMHS candidates, whose list is provided by Director General Medical & Health under policy framed by Health & Family Welfare Department, are eligible for due weightage as per norms, will be eligible for UP NEET PG 2024 counselling.
- Foreign Medical Graduates (FMG) & Foreign National Candidates are eligible for UP NEET PG 2024 counselling as per eligibility criteria mentioned in NBE Information Bulletin-2023-point no. 4.10 & 4.11. (Annexure- 5) (Read with Notice Dated 07.02.2023 N.B.E. New Delhi)
- Only In-service candidates are eligible for state quota DNB seats.

UP NEET PG Counselling 2024 Fee
Candidates must pay the online registration fee and security money to be eligible for the seat allocation process. Failure to pay the required security money for UP NEET PG Counselling 2024 within the stipulated time will result in the candidate being excluded from the choice-filling process.
UP NEET PG Counselling 2024: Counselling Process
Merit list for MD/MS/Diploma candidates will be prepared after providing weightage to In-Service (PMHS) candidates. It is advised that before choice filling candidates independently gather information about Private colleges in which he/she wish to take admission.
Online Choice Filling:
- For choice filing visit the website https:/upneet.gov.in and log in by using the NEET Roll number and Password created at the time of registration.
- You can change your choice until the final locking.
- Choice filing will not be complete till candidates finally submit and lock their choices within the scheduled time.
- Choice Locking is compulsory, if not locked then online allotment will not occur.
- No changes will be permissible after locking the choice.
Seat Allotment:
- After the scheduled period of choice filling, seat allotment will be done on a merit cum option basis.
- Seat allotment status of successful candidates will be displayed on the website https://upneet. gov. in.
- Selected candidates will have to download their allotment letter for reporting at the allotted Medical College/ Designated Nodal Centre.
- If the Candidate does not take admission after the first round of counseling allotment, then security money will be forfeited. For participation in the second round of counseling security money will have to be deposited again.
- If the Candidate has taken admission after the first round of counseling in the allotted college but wants to reshuffle his/her seat/college, then he/she will remain eligible for the second round of counseling and can fill the choices for the second round.
- It is advised that candidates do not opt same seat/college to which he/she was already admitted.
- If he/she is allotted any other seat or the same seat again, then the previous allotment will automatically get canceled.
- It is mandatory to take admission in the newly allotted seat, if he/she does not take admission in the new (re-shuffled) seat, the new allotment will get canceled.
MOP-UP Round:
- Candidates who are allotted but have not joined/admitted/ resigned any seat will not be eligible for the MOP-UP Round.
- Any candidate who has taken admission to any PG course in any Medical Dental College in India through All India/ other state counseling will not be eligible for the MOP-UP Round.
- Fresh registration with Rs 2000/- is mandatory for the Mop-Up round and only these candidates will be included in the mop-up merit list.
- Candidates will have to produce certificates in the original at the time of admission.
- The conversion of seats will be carried out during the Mop-up round of seat allotment for the State quota. The said conversion will be done only when the candidates belonging to the said conversion category have exhausted. The algorithm for the conversion of category is as follows:
- The counselling for stray vacancy rounds shall be conducted online.
- Fresh registration will be done during the stray vacancy round.

UP NEET PG Counselling 2024: Admission Process
- Candidates have to complete their admission Process including fees deposit at the allotted Medical & Dental Colleges/ Nodal center mentioned in the allotment letter.
- It will be mandatory for the candidates allotted seats in Private Medical & Dental Colleges/Institutes/Universities (except minority Institutions) to deposit the tuition fee fixed by the government at the time of admission. In minority Colleges/Institutions, it will be mandatory for the candidates to deposit the tuition fee prescribed by the respective Colleges/Institutes.
- If a candidate does not take admission to the allotted seat by the due date, he/she shall forfeit any right of admission based on said counseling/allotment.
- Candidates who fail to produce the required original documents at the time of admission or if any concealment or falsification of facts comes to the light at the time of admission or thereafter during the academic sessions, it will make the candidate lose his/her candidature and he/she will be subjected to legal action.
- Bond will be made to the effect that in case the student leaves the Government Medical/Dental College seat after the 2nd counseling, or at any time during the course of study, then the candidate will deposit an amount of Rs 5,00,000/(Five lakhs) as per Govt. Bond.
- The following documents in original and one set self-attested photocopy will be deposited for admission:
- Copy of Allotment letter
- Admit Card of NEET PG-2024/ NEET MDS-2024
- Registration slip and Security Fee slip
- High School Marksheet and Certificate (as proof of date of birth)
- Intermediate Marksheet and Certificate
- Mark sheets of all professional examinations
- MBBS/BDS passing out certificate or degree
- Compulsory Rotatory Internship completion certificate
- Permanent Registration Certificate (State Medical Council/MCI/DC!)
- Employer NOC certificate, if employed
- Reservation certificate (SC/ST /OBC/EWS/PwD certificate), if applicable.
