Eligibility Criteria for MBBS
- Must be an Indian citizen
- Must have passed NEET UG
- Must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology, and English as separate subjects. Must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB in the qualifying examination. However, for candidates from Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the required aggregate is relaxed to 40% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Bio-technology. General/E.W.S. candidates must obtain 50% as per the original requirement. Additionally, for Persons with Disability, the minimum aggregate is 45% for both General-PH and EWS-PH candidates.
- Students who are Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand have passed both the 10th and 12th exams from a recognized institution in Uttarakhand.
- Students who are not Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand but have passed the 10th and 12th exams from a recognized institution in Uttarakhand shall also be eligible. Still, they won’t get any kind of reservation.

Eligibility Criteria for MD/MS 2023
1. NEET UG 2023 qualified candidates interested in U.G.
State/All India-Management quota seats must register for counseling.
2. Registration is required for each round of counseling,
and candidates who miss the 1st round can participate in the 2nd and Mop-Up
rounds after registration and fee payment.
3. Separate state merit lists will be prepared and displayed
based on the registration for each round of counseling.
4. Only registered candidates are allowed to participate in
the specific round of counseling.
5. Candidates must provide NEET UG 2023 examination details,
a valid mobile number, and other required information during r
egistration.
6. A verification code/OTP will be sent to the registered mobile
number for subsequent steps of online application form filling.
7. If a candidate wishes to edit information or upload new
documents after final submission, they must pay a fee of Rs.500/- per session
for editing.
8. After completing the form, t
he candidate should save the
entries, recheck them, and lock the application form.
9. If the candidate saves the form but fails to lock the
filled choices, the system will automatically lock them according to the
specified time in the counseling schedule.
10. Failure to fill any choice will result in the candidate

Internship
Upon completing their 3rd Professional (Part-II) Final Examination, students must undergo a compulsory 12-month internship at the Institute rotating. Graduates are expected to apply theoretical knowledge to practical skills under supervision, making themselves competent enough to handle all emergencies and provide basic medical consultation independently.
The Internship program is tailored to enable the graduate to diagnose and treat common clinical diseases, make appropriate referrals to higher-level healthcare facilities, and efficiently use essential drugs, infusions, blood, or its substitutes and laboratory services. Additionally, the graduate is trained to handle medical, surgical, obstetric, neonatal, and pediatric emergencies and develops leadership skills to lead the health team.
The internship program also focuses on monitoring the National Health Programs and schemes to provide preventive and promotive healthcare services to the community, providing services to chronically sick and disabled patients, and developing effective communication skills with patients and the community.
To be awarded an MBBS degree, a student must complete the full duration of the internship program in compliance with NMC regulations.

Choice Filling
The guidelines and instructions for choice filling will be provided along with the publication of the seat matrix. Candidates should exercise utmost care and diligence when filling their choices, considering the seat matrix and the associated fee structure. Submitting the choices within the specified date and time is crucial, as failure to do so will result in the candidate losing the opportunity to participate in the online allotment process. It is important to note that the choices filled by the candidate will be considered final for the online allotment process. Therefore, candidates are advised to make choices wisely and ensure accuracy before submitting them.
Seat Allotment Through Online Allotment Process
The allotment of seats in the first round of the online allotment process will follow the merit list prepared based on the All India Merit in NEET 2023. The order of choices/options filled by the candidates in the online application form will also be considered. Candidates are advised to carefully fill in their choices after referring to the displayed fees and the College Information Sheet of the respective college. The allotment process will be offline for the second State NEET UG Counseling 2023 round. The allotment will be based on the merit corresponding to the minimum percentile obtained in NEET 2023 for all categories, per the National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines. The order of choices/options filled in by the candidates in the online form will also be considered.
Selection of Students
Admission to Medical Colleges will be based solely on the All India merit of candidates through NEET 2023. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to be eligible for MBBS Admissions 2023. Eligible candidates who have qualified in NEET 2023 will be admitted in order of merit for both general and reserved seats, except seats under the category of ‘d’ sub-clause of clause-4, which pertains to defense/paramilitary wards and follows a priority-cum-merit system. The seat allotment for a candidate will be provisional until the original documents are verified and the candidate fulfills the medical fitness criteria at the allotted college. Once a candidate submits their original documents, physically reports to the allotted institution, and pays the required fee, they will be considered as having joined the institution.
Conditions Related to Bond/Fee Structure

Candidates selected for admission to the aforementioned medical colleges must submit a bond of commitment. This bond entails an agreement not to discontinue the course before its completion and to serve the State Government for two years following the completion of the course. The bond amount is set at Rs. 5.0 lakhs (Rupees five lakhs). For candidates selected under the NRI seat category in the mentioned medical colleges, an additional bond must be submitted for the remaining course fees. This bond ensures that the candidate regularly deposits the fees for the remaining course duration. If the candidate decides to leave the MBBS course before its completion, they will be liable to pay the fees for all the remaining semesters.
Uttarakhand NEET PG 2023 Counselling for MD/MS
The counseling process will consist of two rounds followed by a mop-up round, which will be conducted online. Only candidates included in the Uttarakhand PG medical merit list will be qualified to participate in the counseling. Uttarakhand NEET PG 2023 counseling is specifically conducted for admission to 50% of state quota seats and all seats in private universities. It is important to note that the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is responsible for conducting NEET PG counseling 2023 for 50% All India Quota seats and 100% seats in deemed/central universities and ESIC/AFMS institutes.
