The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the choice-filling option for the second round of NEET PG 2025 counselling by 11:59 PM today. Candidates applying under the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) must ensure that their preferences are entered and locked before the deadline on the official portal: mcc.nic.in.
Along with the choice submission, the payment facility will remain active until 3:00 PM today (as per server time). Those who fail to complete the required steps will not be considered during the allotment process.
NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round 2 Process and Timeline
Round 2 of counselling began after the participating medical institutions completed verification of the tentative seat matrix. Registered applicants were able to submit and lock their choices from December 5 to December 9, 2025, with the locking window active today from 4:00 PM to midnight.
Once the choice filling closes, MCC will proceed with:
- Seat allotment processing: December 10–11, 2025
- Round 2 seat allotment result: December 12, 2025
Candidates who secure a seat must report to their allotted colleges between December 13 and December 21, 2025. Institutions will then verify joined candidates’ records from December 22 to December 23, 2025, after which MCC will share finalised data with participating colleges.
Documents Required for Reporting
Candidates shortlisted in Round 2 must carry original and photocopies of the following documents during physical reporting:
- NEET PG admit card
- NEET PG scorecard
- MBBS/BDS professional exam mark sheets
- MBBS/BDS degree certificate
- Internship completion certificate
- NMC/MCI/State Medical Council registration certificate
- Date of birth proof
- Valid government photo ID
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
Failure to present required documents may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

What Happens After Choice Submission?
Once the results for NEET PG 2025 counselling round 2 are uploaded on the MCC platform, selected candidates must report to their allotted institutions within the mentioned dates. Admission will be confirmed only after completion of document verification and fulfilment of eligibility conditions.
