The registration process for NEET PG 2024 will kick off on April 16, 2024, courtesy of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). Aspiring candidates eager to apply for the NEET PG 2024 can locate the registration link on the official NBE website, natboard.edu.in, starting from 3 PM onwards. Candidates must complete their applications for the entrance examination by May 6, 2024. The pre-final edit window is scheduled to open on May 28 and will remain open until June 3, 2024. Following this, the final edit window will be accessible from June 7 to June 10, 2024. Expect the NEET PG admit card 2024 to be downloadable starting June 18, 2024. The examination itself is slated for June 23, 2024, with results set to be announced by July 15, 2024. It’s important to note that the cut-off date for internship completion is August 15, 2024.
NEET PG 2024: How to Apply
To apply for the NEET PG 2024 exam, follow these steps:
1. Visit the official website of NBE at natboard.edu.in.
2. On the homepage, locate and click on the NEET PG 2024 link.
3. Register yourself and login to your account.
4. Fill out the application form and proceed to make the payment of the application fee.
5. After submission, download the confirmation page.
6. Keep a hard copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
The NEET PG 2024 exam fees are ₹3500/- for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates and ₹2500/- for SC, ST, and PWD category candidates. Payment can be made through the provided payment gateway using a Credit Card or Debit Card issued by banks in India or other available modes. The NMC has set August 15, 2024, as the cut-off date for internship completion, a requirement for eligibility to sit for NEET PG 2024.
The NEET PG exam consists of 200 Multiple-choice Questions, each offering four options presented exclusively in English. Candidates must select the correct answer from the provided options for each question. The allotted time to complete the exam is 3 hours and 30 minutes. Additionally, there is a negative marking scheme, deducting 25% of the marks for each incorrect answer. However, no marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
