Upon completing their Final Examination, SGT Medical College students must undergo a compulsory 12-month internship at the Institute. The process for counseling of MBBS/BDS courses to fill State Quota seats in Government/Government Aided Medical/Dental Colleges and State Quota seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges, as outlined above, will be replicated for admissions to Management Category seats. Admission to NRI Category (NRIs/PIOs/OCIs/Foreign National): –
Admissions under the NRI Category for MBBS/BDS courses will be based on the NEET 2024 merit. The admission procedure for NRI quota seats is outlined as follows:
1. Eligibility Criteria:
- Only NEET-qualified candidates are eligible under the NRI category.
- PIOs/OCIs and Foreign Nationals who are NEET-qualified can also apply under the NRI category.
2. Preference Criteria for NRI Category:
- Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs candidates originally from Haryana receive first preference.
- Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to Haryana State.
- Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories other than Haryana.
- Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories other than Haryana.
- Real brothers and sisters of the candidate.
- First-degree relations residing abroad, fulfilling specific conditions.
3. Conditions for First-Degree Relations:
- The first-degree relation must be an NRI.
- They should ordinarily reside abroad.
- They must have looked after the student as the guardian, with evidence to support this claim.
4. Admission of Foreign Nationals:
- Foreign Nationals will be considered for admission under the NRI quota after exhausting the list of NRIs/PIOs/OCIs.

Individuals aspiring to enroll in the MS/MD course at SGT Medical College must complete their online registration through the designated admission web portal. Procedure for Admission to State Quota seats in Govt./Govt. Aided in Private Medical Colleges located in Haryana: –
1. Admissions Procedure:
- Admissions under specified categories will be conducted online, utilizing the Haryana State Merit list based on NEET PG 2024 merit.
- The schedule for document verification, admissions, and class commencement will adhere to the timelines set by the National Medical Commission/Dental Council of India/Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and the State Government.
- Candidates applying based on NEET PG 2024 must fulfill the eligibility criteria outlined for the respective examinations.
2. Tie-Breaker Criteria:
- In case of a tie between candidates with equal marks, inter-se ranking will be determined by NEET PG 2024 Rank.
- For admissions under the ESM Category, preference will align with the State Government Notification No. 22 /10/2013-1 GS-III dated 10.08.2017.
3. Online Counseling Choices:
- Candidates will fill in their choices of course/specialty/institution on the online web portal, and these choices, given in order of preference, will be considered final.
- Editing preferences after the specified last date will not be allowed.
4. Seat Allotment:
- The allotment of course/specialty/institution/college will strictly follow the merit prepared/drawn based on NEET PG 2024 and the candidate’s choices on the online portal.
- The online counseling result will be provisional, with final confirmation and seat allotment done after physical verification of eligibility and original documents.
5. Document Verification and Provisional Allocation:
- Candidates provisionally allocated seats must appear in person for document verification before the admission committee at Pt. B.D Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
- The provisional allocation online does not grant any legal right until confirmed through document verification, and deposited fees do not confer any legal rights until verified.
6. Role of Admission Committee:

7. Appeal Process:

10. Second Round of Counseling:
- In case of vacancies after the first round, the second round of counseling will be conducted.

- In-service candidates from various categories need to comply with specific NOC requirements issued by competent authorities.
- The benefit of reservation will only apply to candidates with valid NOCs received from their Parent Department before the specified last date.
12. Registration Fee:
- Candidates desiring to participate in counseling must register on the admission web portal.
- The non-refundable registration fee is Rs. 2500/- for the Unreserved Category and Rs. 1250/- for the PWBD/SC/BC/EWS Category of Haryana.
13. Processing Fee for Private Institutes:
- All private Medical/Dental Institutes, including those under specified universities, will deposit a non-refundable processing fee for counseling @ Rs. 2000/- per sanctioned intake of seats to Pt. BD Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
Process for Admission to Management Category seats in Private Medical Colleges of Haryana: –
The identical process employed for counseling MD/MS/MDS Courses to occupy State Quota seats in Government/Government Aided Medical/Dental Colleges and Open Merit Category seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges, as outlined above, will be replicated for admissions to Management Category seats. However, the merit list will be formulated based on the All India Merit of NEET PG 2024.
Admission to NRI category (NRIs/PIOs/OCIs/Foreign Nationals): –
15% of the management quota seats in private medical colleges affiliated with Pt. BD Sharma UHS, Rohtak, including those under Private Universities such as SGT University in Budhera, Gurugram, PDM University in Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar, and Al-Falah University in Faridabad, will be specifically reserved for NRI category seats. The admission process for NRI quota seats will adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Merit Basis:
- All admissions under NRI category seats will be based solely on the merit of NEET PG 2024.
2. Eligibility:
- Only NEET qualified candidates are eligible for admission under the NRI category.
- PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals who are NEET qualified can also apply under the NRI category.
3. Preference Criteria:
- The preference for admission under the NRI category will be considered in the following order:
(i) Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs candidates who originally belonged to the State of Haryana.
(ii) Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to Haryana State.
(iii) Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories other than Haryana.
(iv) Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories other than Haryana.
(v) Real Brother and Sister of the candidate.
(vi) First-degree relation of the student who is an NRI and residing abroad, fulfilling specific conditions.
4. Conditions for First-degree Relation (NRI):
- The first-degree relation should be the nearest.
- Defined blood relations include real uncle, real aunt, real maternal uncle, real maternal aunt, grandfather, grandmother, and first-degree paternal and maternal cousins.
- The person should be an NRI, ordinarily residing abroad, and must have looked after the student as their guardian, supported by evidence.
5. Consideration of Foreign Nationals:
- Foreign Nationals will be considered for admission under the NRI quota after exhausting the list of NRIs/PIOs/OCIs.
